Purple Crying

I just saw this ad and followed to the link to learn what purple crying was.

Fascinating! It is true that every one of my babies (the last few, anyway) has had a period of just real fussiness. Samuel's worst was the last two weeks (ending this last weekend)...and I was really getting worn down (so much so, that when Jeff made a simple mistake with the laundry, I cried for a solid hour). With a couple of my babies, it was during this crying period that I would quit eating chocolate, (because that MUST be the cause of the fussiness)...not knowing that I was removing a crucial weapon from my arsenal! (hee hee) :)

Anyway, I am posting this utube interview to create awareness, because awareness is always good...when you know that the crying WILL eventually stop, and what the possible cause could be, it is just encouraging enough to take a big breath and say, "OK, I can do this."

Now, donchy'all worry about me, because all IS well. Truly. I even have time to post this. :)

  1. Sorry about the constant crying, inkow how exhausting that can be. I hope he sleeps a little better for you, and that you can get some sleep.

Thanks for commenting on my blog by the way. I didn't know Elizabeth was into running. That is awesome. I have asthma really bad as well. I take advair and use an inhaler, but that didn't even cut it for this last race, I had several asthma fits throughout the race and wasn't breathing as I finished. I still don't feel like I have my lungs back.

But next time you guys rare down this way, I would love to run with Liz. That would be so fun. Heck I would even find a short race we could do together. If she ever has any running questions let me know!
Take care Mary, hope you get some sleep, you are amazing. I don't know how you do it all. You are a great example. Love ya.
