I am getting excited, because this is the third doctor appointment, and we heard the heartbeat again today!
I have been really cautious about getting excited because of the miscarriage, and because of my friend telling me about her stillbirth baby girl=( WAY SAD:(
Because I am 36, we ran the preliminary blood test to check for Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida and related disorders; chances of having a baby with such a disorder DOUBLE after age 35. I should have those results next week.
Ultrasound is APRIL 27, @ 11:30...stay tuned!!!
oooh how exciting! i loved hearing my baby's heartbeats. my dr said something funny one time as he was listening to the heartbeat, "well from this i can tell that it's a boy or a girl, so go ahead and start doing your shopping." haha. and then i heard him say it again another time when i was there. same joke twice. awesome.
